Oracle Corporation (African Operations) has voted RPC Data Ltd "Education Partner of the Year" for 2006.

Jacques van der Merwe, RPC Data Training Director, travelled to Egypt to attend a conference of Oracle Partner companies that are certified as Oracle Approved Education Partners (OAEP). Only Oracle University and OAEP companies are authorised by Oracle to provide training with the official Oracle courseware.

Of the 26 OAEP's in Africa, excluding South Africa and Egypt, RPC Data was acknowledged for its success, reflected both in the value of training business obtained, the activites that have taken place to represent Oracle effectively, and the close adherence to Oracle standards and business processes.

The award was presented to van der Merwe by Mr Medhat Hosni (Education Manager – Egypt and African Operations.)
