Rob Pool
Managing Director

The founder and Managing Director of RPC Data, Rob has a B. A. (Hon's) from the University of York. He completed the Programming Technology course at the Control Data Institute in Leeds and worked on a number of development projects in the United Kingdom and then Zimbabwe, before settling in Botswana. Rob Pool Computing was established in 1990 as the first dedicated software business in Botswana. The full story of RPC Data can be found under Company Profile.

Mompati Nwako

Executive Director

In November 2005 the RPC Data board appointed Mompati as Executive Director. Mompati had retired from the Ministry of Finance after thirteen years service, most recently as Director of Budget Administration. Before joining the public sector he served his articles with Coopers & Lybrand and thereafter in various accounting and management roles in Multinational organisations such as Shell, Colgate-Palmolive and Avis. Holding a BComm., he also completed the Professional II diploma with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy. Mompati is the Deputy Chairman of the Masiela Trust, a charity committed to the welfare of orphans in Botswana.

Arun Palasseri

Acting Finance Manager

Arun is a professional accountant and an Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India - (ACA).  Arun is also a member of Botswana Institute of Accountants (BIA) and has over 8 years of professional experience in diverse industries.  Arun is a man of figures and numbers.  He oversees the accounts of all group companies.

Komal has a B.Comm in Accountancy, and Diplomas in Information Technology and Sales and Management. His philosophy is that true customer satisfaction is only achieved in a long term relationship and his career successes have come through this approach; it involves a sincere attempt to understand the motivation a prospective client might have for evaluating new products, then ensuring that their solution is appropriate in design and price. Komal insists that a sale is only the beginning, and he commits most of his time to developing the relationship between RPC Data and existing customers, ensuring that they are provided with more than the services and support they expect.

Meyyappan Venkatachalam

Consulting Manager

Meyyappan joined RPC in June 2000 as a senior Project Manager and was appointed as Consulting Manager in June 2004. He obtained a BE in Electronics and Communication at Barathiar University, Coimbatore, and MS Software Systems at BITS, Pilani. In his role as Consulting Manager, Meyyappan takes personal interest, and often direct responsibility, for ensuring that his team of over forty consultants and support professionals deliver client expectations on time and on budget.
